Liao Lab came to PromoSta looking to increase his graduate department internet presence. as a subsidiary of the college website he had a page with little information to describe the program.
Ultimately, the goal was to increase inquiries for Graduate Students, Post Doctoral Students, and Laboratory Technicians looking to study at a world class marine biology facility. One of the main points to showcase was the location, right on the Atlantic ocean and paired with a marine biology lab converted from an old Florida attraction Marineland.
Many of the competitive marine labs are not as closely situated to, or as involved in field (ocean) study locations, and the lab is also close to St. Augustine which is a world class destination in it’s own right.
Additionally, we worked with James to develop a unique design that reflects the Labs primary focus and set it apart from the usual academic presentation.
While inquiries increased to the Lab, PromoSta worked with lab technicians to hand off updates of news items and other maintenance tasks, not only allowing the lab to control costs, but teaching students how to integrate web technology into their marine biology studies.
